  • The Taj Mahal is open for night viewing on full moon nights. It is also open two nights prior and two nights after the full moon.  The Taj is closed on Fridays, for both daytime and night viewing.

  • Limited tickets are available, on a first come first served basis and can be purchased only 24hrs before the date of visit. A photocopy of the passport along with details of - name, age, gender, nationality, passport number, address, tel no, fax no – are required to be submitted at the time of purchasing the tickets.  Tickets are not sold on the date of viewing. Current ticket charges :  Adult - US$ 18, Child between 3-14yrs - US$ 12, Child under 3 years - admitted free.

  • Half an hour of viewing time is allotted between 2000hrs and 0030hrs, on a platform situated at a distance of 300 metres from the Taj.

  • You are requested to offer this unique experience to your guests visiting Agra, as an optional, along with the regular visit of Taj Mahal in the daytime. Please do not make this visit as the only visit, since guides are not allowed for the night viewing.
